| Patt Murray on the first day at 827 Chicago. |
Created by Patt Murray
in 1979 and inspired by a mix of the 18th century French "salon" model (a group of people who gather to exchange
ideas) and Baba Ram Dass’s "Be Here Now" (a book about the pleasure of existence),
As You Like It is in its 5th incarnation at 827 Chicago Ave in Evanston.
Upon entering, our guests are able to discuss or to listen,to feel at ease or travel deep into thought,
to be and enjoy. A true "salon" allows us to consider the new and rethink the old on the way to
finding individual solutions for each guest, keeping our craft alive and vibrant. We invite you to benefit from the expert craftsmanship, excellent design work,
caring service, and personal responsibility that our guests have come to expect.
